Far be it for us to judge the decisions of a huge corporation and its ad campaign, but Sony announcing a new line of BRAVIA HDTVs while the vast majority of the consumer electronics industry is intently focused on cellphones in Barcelona seems a bit peculiar. For those who need a break from MWC 2009 shenanigans, we’ve got 19 new hi-def havens here, spanning 6 different models: WE5, W5500, E5500, E5300, V5500, and S5500. Boasted features include BRAVIA Engine 3 with 100Hz Motionflow and Image Blur Reduction for smoother images, a widget-rich on-screen AppliCast that gives you basic internet-on-TV functionality, DLNA for streaming media from a computer, and Sony’s Xross Media Bar (XMB). Not every model here boasts all the new technology — you’ll have to invest in the V5500 (pictured, background) for the full experience. Sony boasts its 2009 LCD lineup is its “greenest ever,” with most models carrying the “EU Flower” eco-friendly label from the European Commission, and not to worry, even some of the most coveted sets here carry the green mark. Hit up the read link for full specs.

We’d already heard during a UK preview show that Philips’ Euro-only Cinema 21:9 HDTV would be priced around £3,000 when it launched sometime this Spring, but now we’ve got some more official details to share (and only half of it is good). So, the good news — we’re told that this behemoth will start shipping “as soon as June.” The bad? The 56-inch ultra-widescreen panel will run you €4,000 ($5,045). Don’t bother turning your head, that’s just your wallet over in the corner wailing.

Samsung LN40A650 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color is Samsung enhances the clarity of select LCD HDTVs by replacing the light-diffusing plastic face of traditional LCD HDTVs with a natural black panel with a clear anti-glare shield. Reduced reflection of external light creates a new dimension in image clarity, highlighting black and darkened areas, enabling vibrant, more compelling colors and a brighter, clearer picture. Black will never again appear grayish. Black details will show in vivid black even in dark scenes.

The latest version of Samsung’s breakthrough super clear panel technology makes colors appear more vibrant and blacks even deeper than ever. Enhanced films reduce glare and optimize off-angle viewing.

50,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio will give you a picture better than you ever thought possible, with whiter whites, blacker blacks and a nearly infinite subtlety of gradations in between. As two of the most important determining factors in overall picture quality, contrast and brightness levels achieve new heights in this latest generation LCD panel. Samsung’s new LCD TV’s give the most stunning realistic picture quality ever.

Full HD, or 1080p, contains 1.5 times more scanning lines than conventional HD TVs. More scanning lines mean more pixels, more details and a better picture. The new Samsung LCD TV with resolution that is approximately 2 times greater than conventional HDTVs, creating the most perfect picture imaginable.

Samsung’s 1080p panel uses a new high-speed liquid crystal to cut response time to 4ms. The fast response time, coupled with Samsung’s Auto Motion Plus 120Hz motion blur reduction technology dramatically reduces motion blur and judder.

DNIe™ The Samsung Digital Natural Image engine. This exclusive Samsung technology dramatically improves the picture by enhancing the contrast, detail, white balance and reduces.

The NTSC (National Television Systems Committee) has established the color standards all TVs in America try to meet. And typical LCD TVs only meet about 72% of this standard. Samsung LCD HDTVs use Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp backlights to give you 92% coverage of the NTSC standard, ensuring truer, more breathlessly vivid colors.

Samsung’s exclusive Wide Color Enhancer technology delivers more brilliant colors, even in bright areas of the picture where blues and greens are washed out on conventional screens. The system displays wider color reproduction, showing you truer colors – the fresh green of spring foliage, the intense blue of the summer sky.

To make the Series 6 a true entertainment hub for any home, Samsung has incorporated advanced HD connectivity and networking capabilities that expand the HDTV’s functionality. A wide variety of multimedia devices can be connected to the set through any one of the four Simplay compliant HDMI 1.3 inputs (including one on the side), and the handy HDMICEC feature lets you control all your CEC-enabled peripherals using just one remote.

Connect HD digital devices like disc players, game consoles, and satellite dish components into the 2 rear connections and use the side-mounted input for cameras, camcorders, and laptops. HDMI is the best performing interface for displaying an HD source on an HDTV.

Once connected, users can easily access device menus and manage and display content through the newly redesigned Wheel Key Remote control and the HDTV’s sophisticated content management interface.

Sony Bravia XBR KDL-46XBR6 Description
BRAVIA XBR HDTVs have become the benchmark by which all others are measured, and the performance-oriented feature set on the XBR6 series shows why. Exclusive motion and color technologies deliver legendary XBR performance. 10-bit processing and 10-bit displays, x.v.Color technology and Deep Color render a wide color gamut and smooth color transitions. Motionflow 120Hz and 24p True Cinema provide smoother picture performance with unprocessed 24p film reproduction. XBR6 Series HDTVs include Sony’s innovative DMex technology which “future-proofs” them by creating an expandable platform for connecting to devices that haven’t even been invented yet. Of course, right now they will also connect seamlessly with other Sony products like camcorders, computers, digital cameras, and the interesting new Bravia Internet Video Link. HDMI-CEC compatibility means you can control everything from one remote. They are even DLNA compliant, offer Sony’s unique PhotoTV HD, and include swivel stands.

A bold new design with a color-accented speaker grille complements the gloss black finish, which also hints at the floating glass look of previous XBR models. If you’re looking for some personalization you can purchase an optional speaker grille in multiple colors.

Full HD 1080p means our connections accept 1080p signals and the display will render that signal in Full HD 1080p. The flexibility of native 1920 x 1080 displays allows any high definition content to be viewed without the need to downconvert images to the native resolution of the display. Take full advantage of Blu-ray Disc players and PlayStation 3 systems that can deliver 1080p content.

(Found in S, V, W, Z, and XBR Series HDTVs)

Sony’s Digital Media Extender (DMex) offers a digital connection path for optional modules like the BRAVIA Internet Video Link, as well as other modules you can add in the future. Innovative DMex expansion capabilities integrate into the award-winning XMB user interface making HDTVs a powerful entertainment platform that not only meets current needs, but expands to meet tomorrow’s needs as well.

The latest version of Sony’s respected BRAVIA Engine fully digital video processor uses a collection of unique SONY algorithms to significantly reduce noise and produce sharp, vibrant, life-like images.

Dynamic Noise Reduction: Intelligently identifies and dramatically reduces noise in the signal according to the motion and brightness of each scene for clearer, crisper images.

Detail Enhancement: Improved image enhancement algorithms render greater overall detail.

Contrast Enhancement: Works with the Advanced Contrast Enhancer circuit to optimize the contrast for every scene to create better depth and reality.

BRAVIA Engine technology optimizes the color, contrast, detail and clarity of every scene for the exceptional performance that BRAVIA HDTVs are known for.

Part of the cinematic drama in film-making comes from details found in shadows and dark areas of the picture. Sony’s Advanced Contrast Enhancer (ACE)n uses real-time image processing to dynamically adjust backlight levels for improved contrast without masking details the filmmaker intended you to see. ACE delivers deep blacks in darker scenes, as well as fine details in shadows and other dark areas of the picture for a difference you can truly see.

Motionflow 120Hz technology doubles the number of existingframes by calculating in real time and inserting 60 entirely new frames between the original 60 frames. It uses a special Sony-developed algorithm that detects specific objects, as well as the movement of the overall scene and intelligently applies the right amount of enhancement. There’s
more to the story.

Unlike some other high frame rate technologies, Motionflow also includes Sony’s unique Image Blur Reduction algorithm, which reduces blur from the original source image captured by a camera before applying motion enhancement technology.

Judder is a visual artifact that shows up in video content that has been converted from film-based content. A visible jerking or stuttering effect can sometimes be seen during motion sequences on converted film-based content that may be noticeable on scenes that include panning.

There are many forms of high frame rate technology in the market today, but only Motionflow 120Hz technology uses special Sony algorithms designed to intelligently detect and apply the right amount of enhancement to reduce judder and deliver a smoother, sharper picture with more natural motion of the original film.

Movies and many prime time TV programs are shot at 24 frames per second. This means that TVs operating at any refresh rate that is not an even multiple of 24 will have to do some interpolation to present the content. TVs operating at at 30Hz or 60Hz traditionally solved this via a method called “2:3 pulldown”. The television repeats the first film frame over the first two fields of video, and the second film frame over the next three fields of video (1, 1, 2, 2, 2), and continues to do this with the 3rd and 4th frames, the 5th and 6th framer (1,1,2,2,2 – 3,3,4,4,4 – 5,5,6,6,6), and so on until 24 frames are displayed over 60 refresh cycles. This discrepancy in the number of times frames are displayed can lead to a jerky motion in filmed material which some viewers notice for example, especially with scenes that pan.

120, on the other hand, is an even multiple of 24. Televisions with 24p capability, operating at 120Hz, can display an equal number of frames for every refresh cycle.

The benefit—You can watch movies in natural, cinematic motion, the way they are seen at the cinema. Every single frame of the movie can now be seen without using additional video processing that converts film-based images to video reproduction. Additionally, 24p True Cinema input capability can be used along with Motionflow™ 120Hz technology for outstanding fluid motion beyond what you would typically see at the cinema. Once you experience 24p video it will be hard to view video without it.

(Found in S, V, W, Z, and XBR Series HDTVs).

Sony’s Blu-ray disc players wisely take advantage of this by including 24p output capability.

Thanks to the adoption of a newly approved international color standard called xvYCC (an option in the HDMI v1.3 spec and which Sony participated in creating), the color space has been greatly expanded.

All XBR HDTVs support the xvYCC color profile (Extended YCC Colorimetry for Video Applications), or “x.v. color” for short. Standard RGB color space allows the display of a portion of the colors that are viewable to the human eye. The next generation “xvYCC” color space actually offers an available range of colors that exceeds what human eyes can recognize.

Next-generation “xvYCC” color space supports 1.8 times as many colors as existing HDTV signals

Lets HDTVs display colors more accurately

Enables displays with more natural and vivid colors

Select products such as four Sony Handycam High Definition camcorders include x.v.Color to reproduce color that takes you beyond HD.

While it’s great to state that a TV is capable of creating billions of colors it’s a whole lot better when you have a true 10-bit display that can actually display them. Sony combines 10-bit processing with a 10-bit panel, allowing 64 times the levels of color expression. What that translates to is smoother transitions from color to color and subtle color changes faithfully reproduced without a paint-by-numbers look.

So, where x.v. color expands the available range of colors your HDTV can display, Deep Color increases the number of colors your HDTV can display within that range, for smoother transitions from color to color.

Lets HDTVs and other displays go from millions of colors to billions of colors

Eliminates on-screen color banding, for smooth tonal transitions and subtle gradations between colors

Enables increased contrast ratio

Can represent many times more shades of gray between black and white.

Delivering a fun user experience is what the new rich graphics are designed to do. Accessing video content and sharing digital photos with your family and friends on an HDTV is now fast, easy and fun. Colorful thumbnails cascade before your eyes allowing you to visually choose what you want to see. Viewing digital images through Sony’s photo viewer is now more organized and can be quickly accessed.

The TV Guide On-screen IPG delivers continually updated program listings to users. The guide requires no subscription fees or phone connection and is available at no extra cost to the consumer. Sony is the first company to integrate the TV Guide On-Screen User Interface into a custom interface — Sony’s exclusive Xross Media Bar user interface.

(Found in all V, W, Z, and XBR Series HDTVs)

In 2007 Sony included HDMI CEC capability in select HDTV and BRAVIA Theatre Home Audio products, which led to a one-touch function Sony feature called BRAVIA Theatre Sync. This feature allows the access and control multiple tasks and system operations with one button ease. BRAVIA Sync is now being introduced as the name for a new family of control features that not only includes BRAVIA Theatre Sync, but will now include BRAVIA Sync. This feature allows the user to control a CEC-enabled camcorder connected to a BRAVIA HDTV via an HDMI cable by using the HDTV’s remote control and an on-screen display that shows camcorder transport functions.

(Found in all V, W, Z, and XBR Series HDTVs)

All Connections

4 HDMI — High Definition Multimedia

2 component video inputs

PC Input: Limited to resolutions supported by both the PC and the Sony TV. See Sony TV users manual and PC documentation for supported resolutions.

All 2008 XBR and Z-Series BRAVIA HDTVs are DLNA-compliant.

You already know something about digital living. There’s the TV and digital video recorder in your family room. (And another set in your bedroom.) You have a PC and digital printer in your office, along with a network attached storage device. And you’ve copied all your music onto your portable music player and haven’t had to open a CD case for years. But getting them to talk to each other can be pretty tough. Why is it still so difficult to send digital content from one device to another?

Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) is a collaboration of the world’s leading consumer electronics, PC and mobile companies that has created design guidelines for a new generation of products that can work together — no matter the brand.

Think for a moment about all of the photos “locked away” on your home PC that you wish you could access while entertaining your friends and family. Now, thanks to DLNA enabled devices, a DLNA-enabled PC can be accessed from the comfort of your living room or family room via a DLNA-enabled HDTV, where you can enjoy your memories with friends and family, without having to deal with the hassle and non-intuitive “PCexperience”.

Or, say you recently downloaded your daughter’s birthday party video from your digital camcorder to your PC. Now you want to share it with your parents who are visiting. Without DLNA, you probably have to burn a DVD of the video or hook up the camcorder to the TV. With DLNA, you can just use your TV’s remote to call up the video on your TV. That’s it.

Consumers can easily enjoy MPEG and JPEG files stored on external devices by connecting through a side-mounted USB 2.0, turning their LCD into a full-scale home viewing gallery, or connect their MP3 players for a dynamic audio experience.

Samsung LN46A650 is Samsung’s Series 6 marks the first appearance of TOC (Touch of Color) design in the 2008 LCD HDTV line-up. Inspired by designs from the automotive and fashion industries, Samsung’s unique unique Transparent and Opaque Color molding process creates a clean, smooth finish infused with a hint of a translucent color during the manufacturing process for an ultra-sleek appearance.

Samsung enhances the clarity of select LCD HDTVs by replacing the light-diffusing plastic face of traditional LCD HDTVs with a natural black panel with a clear anti-glare shield.

This technology doubles the frame rate from 60 to 120 frames per second (120Hz LCD panel) without repeating the same image to make more frames. Instead, the TV intelligently calculates the ‘middle’ image between frame A and frame B and inserts it in between (Auto Motion Plus 120Hz processor), making a fluid transition from one frame to the next.

Samsung enhances the clarity of select LCD HDTVs by replacing the light-diffusing plastic face of traditional LCD HDTVs with a natural black panel with a clear anti-glare shield.

Sharp AQUOS LC52BD80U 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Built-In Blu-ray Player is Full HD 1080p resolution produces a crisp picture, and Sharp’s Spectral Contrast Engine XD (Extreme Dark) provides a high dynamic contrast ratio, enabling deep blacks and vibrant colors, and a special dejudder feature results in the smooth reproduction of film content. The 4ms response time delivers amazingly accurate picture quality and Sharp’s 120Hz Fine Motion Enhanced circuit provides the ultimate in fast-motion image processing. All

BD80 models feature built-in ATSC/QAM/NTSC tuners, high-performance speakers with 20 watts of total power, and the following inputs: four HDMI, two component, one PC, one composite, one S-Video, and one RS-232C.

Sharp makes it easier than ever to enjoy your favorite movies in spectacular 1080p high-definition quality by including an integrated Blu-ray Disc Player with its BD80 series LCD HDTVs. It combines the convenience of an all-in-one home theater solution with Sharp’s new Superlucent Advanced Super View (ASV) panel for a dramatically bright and crisp picture. The slot-loading Blu-ray Disc Player placed on the back of the HDTV is also backward-compatible with DVD and CD titles.

In addition to this 52-inch LC52BD80U model, the Sharp AQUOS BD80 1080p/Blu-ray LCD HDTV Series also includes a 46-inch version. (Learn more about what size TV should you get.)

The Blu-ray Disc format has full 1080P resolution capability, and it enables you to take advantage of the latest surround sound formats such as Dolby TrueHD. This means you will enjoy high quality lossless 7.1 Channel digital surround (48KHz only ) that is bit for bit the equivalent of a master recording.

Sharp’s Quick Start feature allows you to enjoy viewing high definition content on your big screen quicker than most other Blu-ray Disc players. Unlike many other Blu-ray Disc players, the BD80-series has an impressive startup time allowing you to begin watching your movies in approximately 10 seconds (time may vary depending on movie content, and the feature can be turned off). Additionally, the Blu-ray player features AQUOS Pure Mode, which automatically senses the aspect ratio of the Blu-ray title being played and optimizes the TV’s view mode for the best possible HD picture possible.

Even your existing standard definition DVD library can look better than ever because Blu-ray Disc players are backwards compatible with your DVDs. By optimizing standard DVD playback signals to 1080P (when displayed on a 1080P capable HDTV with HDMI technology), the Blu-ray Disc player can deliver more picture and sound quality.

By dividing each pixel into two sections and developing an advanced driving system, Sharp’s new Multi-Pixel Technology delivers more natural and accurate color reproduction when viewing the screen from virtually any angle. This technology improves extreme-angle viewing by approximately 60 percent.

Full HD, or 1080p, contains 1920 x 1080 pixels, 1.5 times more scanning lines than conventional HD TVs. More scanning lines mean more pixels, more details and a better picture. Sharp’s 1080p panel uses a impressively high-speed liquid crystal to cut response time to 6ms. The fast response time keeps images smooth even in the midst of high-speed motion.

By changing the layout of circuits inside the LCD panel and by reducing the number of parts, Sharp engineers developed the slim-line design which reduces depth by 25 percent, allowing placement of the BD80-series televisions in virtually any setting.

Sharp’s innovative LCD panel technology, Advanced Super View panels provide pure whites, deep blacks and a vivid range of color. The panel provides a dynamic contrast ratio up to 27,000:1 and LCD TV industry leading 4ms response time for true film-like smoothness. A 10-bit panel increases the color capability from more than 16 million colors to more than one billion colors. This means richer color and a more accurate, more brilliant depiction of the world on screen

The new ASV Superlucent Panel applies an ultra-smooth finish that minimizes gloss, providing an excellent balance of light control that cuts down reflection from the panel. The leveled panel surface draws together external light and intensifies the panel brightness and contrast. The clear pictures reproduced on this panel takes full advantage of the details of a 1080p panel.

Opened in 2006, the Sharp LCD television plant in Kameyama, Japan, includes one of the world’s largest roof-mounted solar electricity installations. All Sharp factories achieved green status according to international recommendations that combine economic efficiency, social-mindedness and environmental conservation.

At the factories, cogeneration and photovoltaic power generation systems supply approximately one-third of the total energy used. Combined with an on-site fuel cell system that converts energy without combustion, Sharp has reduced CO2 emissions by 40 percent per year. It’s Sharp’s goal that by 2010, the emissions avoided through the use of Sharp’s energy-creating and energy-saving products worldwide will equal their annual global emissions.

All Sharp products are designed and manufactured to virtually eliminate lead, mercury and cadmium.

With the arrival of the latest generation of flat panel LCD sets, it’s safe to say that the new models are ready for prime time. These sets are still falling in prices, and have reached a level that more consumers should find comfortable. Among these models is the Samsung LN46A550, a 46-inch full 1080p LCD HDTV, which offers a big picture at a good value–especially considering that the online and sale price could be even less than the sticker.

For the money you’ll get a set that has a simple, yet far from stark appearance. It isn’t the most stylish set we’ve seen, but with the thin bezel design, smooth lines and depth of less than four inches, it has a look that will be at home in most family room settings. With side connections that include an HDMI input, it also provides plenty of connectivity options.

We’d have preferred to find three rear HDMI inputs instead of the two that this model offers to round it out, but it’s acceptable when figuring in the cost. The set doesn’t shortchange on other A/V connections either: it includes twin rear component inputs, S-Video, composite and even RF, as well as side S-Video, composite and a headphone jack. Samsung typically includes the latter feature, and regardless of screen size, this is always a nice feature to include for late-night viewing.

This full HD 1080p model features a native resolution of 1,920×1,080 and can thus fit every pixel of 1080i and 1080p content, including sources from Blu-ray (and HD-DVD if you happened to get a player before these were discontinued). We liked how this set can upconvert 720p source material, and we were very pleased overall with the picture with the Samsung LN46A550. HD content is, in a word, spectacular. The picture has very rich colors, and is generally free of any “jaggies” or other digital distractions. With a contrast ratio of 30,000:1, the black levels were quite good, and for the price the results were more than acceptable. Out of the box, the colors were a bit inaccurate, but with some tweaking you should get to a truer palette.

This 46-inch LCD set doesn’t have the best off-angle viewing however, but it was generally within a range that we’d consider reasonable. To the far extremes there is some color distortion, but when viewing this set we were pleased with the results even if we weren’t completely front-and-center to the screen. More importantly, we liked that this new generation of Samsung LCD sets has corrected the issue of screen glare, and we found the sets to reflect practically no light. The picture from the Samsung LN46A550 is bright enough to be viewable during daylight hours without the need to draw the curtains or darken the room.

We did find the built-in 10-watt stereo speakers a little underpowered for a set this size. The speaker bar is located under the screen, and while this provides a clean appearance, the audio is a little underwhelming. These set features SRS TruSurround XT to simulate a multi-channel surround sound system, but this fails to compare to the real deal. For the price, you’ll easily have enough money to get a dedicated system and get the full cinematic experience with this beauty of a set.

The Samsung LN46A550 46-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV delivers stunning HD images in top-of-the-line 1080p resolution. Most high-definition TV shows are broadcast in 1080i, so a 1080p set like this one lets you enjoy them in all their detail and depth. Built-in tuners give you easy access to both digital and analog over-the-air broadcasts (antenna required). And the “QAM” digital cable tuner lets cable TV subscribers watch unscrambled channels without using a separate set-top box.

High-definition sources look spectacular on the LN46A550, and standard-definition sources look great too, thanks to Samsung’s powerful image processing that enhances contrast, detail, and white balance while reducing noise. Wide Color Enhancer optimizes hues, so colors look rich and vibrant, yet very natural. Samsung also improved their TVs’ contrast and black level performance. Dark scenes often look washed-out on LCDs when you turn down the room lights, but not on this model.

With three HDMI and two component video inputs, it’s easy to add multiple high-definition video sources like an HD satellite tuner or video game console. The LN46A550’s HDMI connections include “CEC” control capability, which lets you operate other compatible HDMI-equipped Samsung components using only the TV’s remote. That’s really convenient — especially if you keep your components out of sight in a cabinet or closet. You can also super-size the view from your laptop by plugging it into this set’s PC input. And the USB port makes it easy to share digital photos stored on a thumb drive with friends and family.

Pros: Good price, full 1080p model, good contrast ratio
Cons: Underpowered speakers, only three HDMI inputs including side input

In a world of me-too, glossy black flat-panel HDTVs, no few of which may bear the company’s own logo, this 52-inch LCD is dressed in red. Like many radical design choices, you’ll either love it or hate it, and we didn’t love it. But before you write off this red TV, we recommend you check it out in person–the product shots here and elsewhere on the Web just don’t capture the red tint of the frame properly. Aside from design, we found plenty to like about the higher-end LN52A650, and it produces arguably the best picture of any LCD TV we’ve tested so far, although it doesn’t quite beat the quality of the best plasma.

Design
Samsung’s LNA650 series incorporates the company’s Touch of Color design scheme. Instead of the standard glossy black frame, the Samsung LN52A650 sports dark-red accents that suffuse the entire frame, but are most prominent along the top and bottom edge and either side. Other eye-catching elements include a layer of transparent plastic, which is visible along the extreme edges on all sides, and Samsung’s trademark shiny screen (more on that below). The Touch definitely creates a unique look, but call us traditionalists: we didn’t really like it. The photos above just can’t capture how red the Touch makes the frame appear, especially in bright rooms, and if red isn’t your favorite color, you’re out of luck–no other colors have been confirmed for this year, despite the company touting a veritable rainbow at CES. In its favor, the red frame didn’t really detract from the color fidelity of the picture.

Including the standard-issue pedestal swivel stand, the Samsung LN52A650 measures 50.2 inches wide by 34.1 inches tall by 12.8 inches deep and weighs 76.7 pounds. Without the stand, it comes in at 50.2 inches wide by 31.7 inches tall by 4.1 inches deep and 64.6 pounds.

Manufacturer’s Description
Samsung LN52A650 is adds a Touch of Color to a blazing-fast 4ms response time and rich connectivity features to redefine the role HDTVs play in the home with its forward-looking Series 6 (A650) and Series 7 (A750) LCD HDTVs. Utilizing the award-winning technologies found in all Samsung HDTVs, Series 6 and 7 HDTVs deliver unparalleled picture quality and enhanced connectivity and networking capabilities that create a true entertainment hub for any home. Series 7 takes networking and multimedia management to a whole new level. Consumers can easily enjoy MPEG and JPEG files stored on external devices by connecting through a side-mounted USB 2.0, turning their LCD into a full-scale home viewing gallery, or connect their MP3 players for a dynamic audio experience.

Samsung LN52A650 Customer Review

This Samsung LN52A650 is an absolute knock out LCD TV. I have nothing but praise for the picture quality and did extensive research before buying. Bravia fans, eat your heart out because this picture quality leaves you in the dust. Buy one and you won’t regret it. The delivery service that Amazon used was efficient and professional. Amazon is the way to go as BB and other bricks and morter stores can’t come close to Amazon’s price and shipping resources. TV is number one in my book especially at the price.
